Gotta love music

We are often trying to look for new songs,

When you listen to music, a part of your brain called the nucleus accumbens activates. This triggers the release of the ‘pleasure chemical’ dopamine, that lives in a group of neurons in your brain called the Ventral Tegmental Area (VTA).

This pathway in the brain is called the Reward System, and Dopamine is strongly associated with it.

Try out with Bluetooth enabled media devices to sync them with you phone or computer, and listen all loud music on a portable Bluetooth speaker. It is know that music will help you perform better in so many aspects. It will just depend the genre of music you hear.

Dopamine is the same chemical that gets released when you eat your favorite food or when you get a new follower on Twitter, causing you to want more, more, more.

The amount of dopamine that gets released and the feelings of pleasure we get from it are also largely dependent on the element of surprise.

For instance, when you stumble upon a new song that you love, more dopamine is released and you get even more excited than if you were to listen to one of your favorite songs that you’ve heard multiple times.

How Music Impact You, Everyday

You may have noticed that when you are listening to music, you do some activities way better than when you are not and this article will explain why. In they way the brain works, (and that something we'll let for later) music stimulates it and makes it release different hormones and substances that create different

Ambient noise can improve creativity
It turns out that a moderate noise level is the sweet spot for creativity. Even more than low noise levels, ambient noise apparently gets our creative juices flowing, and doesn't put us off the way high levels of noise do.

The way this works is that moderate noise levels increase processing difficulty which promotes abstract processing, leading to higher creativity. In high noise levels, however, our creative thinking is impaired because we're overwhelmed and struggle to process information efficiently.

Music can improve our motor and reasoning skills
We generally assume that learning a musical instrument can be beneficial for kids, but it's actually useful in more ways than we might expect. One study showed that children who had three years or more musical instrument training performed better than those who didn't learn an instrument in auditory discrimination abilities and fine motor skills.

They also tested better on vocabulary and nonverbal reasoning skills, which involve understanding and analyzing visual information, such as identifying relationships, similarities and differences between shapes and patterns.

Classical music can improve visual attention
It's not just kids that can benefit from musical training or exposure. Stroke patients in one small study showed improved visual attention while listening to classical music.
The study also tried white noise and silence to compare the results, and found that, like the driving study mentioned earlier, silence resulted in the worst scores.

You may want to try listen to some music in your study room, in the park, or where ever you need to focus with classical music, use your creativity with ambient music. using a portable Bluetooth speaker this is achievable.

Mini Beat Boxx offers you all of this and more in a convenient way, using a Bluetooth enabled media device with rechargeable battery that will lasts long.

New Minecraft Release Date Delayed

Bad news, PlayStation 4 gamers may have to wait a while before they can get the newest Minecraft game on their gaming consoles. Developer 4J Studios shared the news via Twitter last week.

"Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of #MinecraftPS4," 4J wrote. "We're fixing, but we need to go through the process again."

The website reports the release for the game will be done by September.

The pushed back release date is needed to accommodate Sony's stringent certification process, which sees each game having to go through the same process at SCEA in North America, SCEE in Europe, and SCEJ in Japan.

Meanwhile, there has been little to no news for the game's release on the Xbox One and PlayStation Vita, as 4J says that they are still trying to fix some bugs that were found in both editions.

But, so long as everything goes, we could have whole new worlds to conquer and create by mid-September. Don't forget too, that you can import save games from either - the Xbox 360 version will be updated soon to enable this.

9 Troubleshooting steps for Bluetooth

What you can do about pairing failures

1. First of all, make sure Bluetooth is turned on. You should see the little Bluetooth symbol at the top of your phone’s screen.

2. Determine which pairing process your device employs. The process for pairing devices can vary. For older Bluetooth versions, we must tapping a code into your phone. New versions include the feature called NFC, this means that you need to physically touch your phone to the device you want to pair it with.

If you’re not sure how to pair a device, refer to its user guide; you can usually find one by searching online.

3. Turn on "make this device visible" mode. This cam be done on settings on the device.

4. Power the devices off and back on. A soft reset sometimes can resolve an issue. With phones, an easy way to do this is by going into and out of airplane mode.

5. Delete a device from a phone and rediscover it. If your phone sees a device but isn’t receiving data from it, sometimes it helps to start from scratch.
In iOS settings, tap on its name and then Forget this Device.
In Android settings, tap on a device’s name, then Unpair.

6. Make sure the devices you want to pair are designed to connect with each other. Whether it’s a headset, speaker, mouse, keyboard, camera or something else, your device has a specific profile that spells out what it can connect with. If you’re not sure, check the user manual.

7. Download a driver (PC issue). If you’re having problems pairing something with your PC, you might be lacking the correct driver. The simplest way to figure this out is to do an online search for the name of the device you’re trying to pair along with the word “driver.”

8. Update the hardware’s firmware. Some audio systems recently wouldn't pair with the iPhone 5, because the older version of Bluetooth didn't work with Bluetooth 4.0. If you’re not sure how to get the latest firmware for your hardware, check with the device manufacturer.

9. Make sure the two devices are in close enough proximity to one another. Make sure both devices are within five feet of one other.

Buying an Acoustic Guitar

When it comes to get an acoustic guitar, it is difficult to choose, since there are so many options other there. Here are a few aspects you may consider when buying a new guitar that will directly impact on sound and usage. These are just a few.

Size

Tonally, smaller guitars tend to possess greater brightness or treble response, while bigger guitars (with larger air cavities in the body), at least have a greater potential for bass response. A player who wants the greatest volume and projection might gravitate toward a longer scale instrument, while a player who wants the more delicate expressiveness of note bending might prefer a shorter scale instrument. \

Kind of Woods
In general, resonant woods like rosewood accentuate the bass response. Lighter woods like mahogany influence the treble response. Harder woods like maple aid in projection. Check the kinds of woods:

Body Woods
Alder
Ash
Basswood
Korina
Mahogany
Maple
Maple/Mahogany
Poplar
Rosewood
Walnut
Exotics

Neck Woods
Mahogany/Ebony.
Mahogany/Rosewood.
Maple.
Maple/Pau Ferro.
Maple/Rosewood.

Neck and Nut Width
Nut Width is definitely a significant factor in determining how a neck will feel. You can choose from our various sizes for a Nut Width that fits you perfectly!

1-5/8" (41mm)
This is the smallest nut width and considered "Vintage" since most of the guitar makers in the 1950s and 60s used this size. Smaller hands will find this very comfortable as do players who mostly play rhythm.

1-11/16" (43mm)
Considered the standard size of the guitar industry for the last 30+ years, 1 11/16 Nut Width allows for what many consider to be the perfect balance between chording and soloing. This is the most popular Nut Width size.

1-3/4" (44mm)
For those with slightly larger hands or soloing techniques when a slightly wider string spacing is desirable, this is just the ticket! Some 80s shredder guitar companies used this size along with large frets to create a unique soloing feel. It also may remind you of how an acoustic guitar neck would feel.

1-7/8" (48mm)
This would be the Grand Daddy of Nut Widths. Giant hands will love this size as would people doing specialized guitar building and adding more strings to the neck. Click on the link above for special information and pricing for this unique offering.

Tuning machines
Tuning machines are the ones that makes the bigger work. In general, they have an average Rotations: 14/1 (this means that 14 spins of the knob outside equals to 1 spin of the string)

The type of tuning machine your guitar has is very important. This is what allows you to fine tune and hold pitch. Enclosed machine heads resist rust and airborne corrosives, and therefore don’t require as much maintenance or replacement as open tuning machines.

What are the Statics for accidents caused by Distraction

Everyday we see on newspapers, TV news and other media what happens when people get distracted while driving, it may end up on a disgrace, or just end up being the most expensive distraction of your live, plus missing work, school, or other daily activities.

I found a government website that shows some number of accidents caused by distraction in the past years. It also explains that, because text messaging requires visual, manual, and cognitive attention from the driver, it is by far the most alarming distraction. But is not limited to. These are other way to get distracted while driving.

Using a cell phone or smartphone
Eating and drinking
Talking to passengers
Grooming
Reading, including maps
Using a navigation system
Watching a video
Adjusting a radio, CD player, or MP3 player

Key Facts and Statistics

  • The number of people killed in distraction-affected crashes decreased slightly from 3,360 in 2011 to 3,328 in 2012. An estimated 421,000 people were injured in motor vehicle crashes involving a distracted driver, this was a nine percent increase from the estimated 387,000 people injured in 2011.
  • Drivers in their 20s make up 27% of the distracted drivers in fatal crashes.
  • At any given daylight moment across America, approximately 660,000 drivers are using cell phones or manipulating electronic devices while driving, a number that has held steady since 2010.
  • Five seconds is the average time your eyes are off the road while texting. When traveling at 55mph, that's enough time to cover the length of a football field blindfolded.
  • A quarter of teens respond to a text message once or more every time they drive. 20 percent of teens and 10 percent of parents admit that they have extended, multi-message text conversations while driving.

It isn't necessarily as safe as not answering the phone, but it will give you more time and mobility to react at any moment. A hand set free, or even your phone paired at the Bluetooth system of the car can help us to avoid a crash.

Also, If you are going to drive, do it responsibly, don't text while driving and answer the phone only when needed. You can always get a Bluetooth hands free and keep it in the car.

How to check compatibility on Home Theater equipment

This provide a few tips for building a home theater that will make you feel like you’re at the movies, and easy to install.

Blu-ray players need a receiver to match
Look for the monikers Dolby TrueHD and DTS Master Audio to make sure you’re getting the best sound.

Make sure that your receiver can handle your speakers
Every speaker will come with a published power rating. That rating will be measured in Watts, and will be either a “continuous” or “peak power” rating. The peak rating is how much power your speaker can handle without audibly distorting, but doesn’t necessarily mean that it can handle that amount of power continuously for sustained periods of time. Using the continuous wattage figure, opt for speakers whose power-handling capability is higher than your receiver’s power output.

HDTV
If you are going to use HDMI, be careful, there are complaints from homeowners who have hung their flat-panel TV, running HDMI cable through the wall to avoid ghastly wires marring their living room decor, only to find that when they try to watch a Blu-ray, little electrical blips appear onscreen, making the movie virtually unwatchable. What have they done wrong? Most likely they’ve installed HDMI cable that is not in-wall rated. In-wall HDMI cables are “shielded” from interference from other electrical wires in your wall, which can cause problems with on-screen images

Connections matter
If you have an older TV, but a new Blu-ray player, satellite receiver, cable box, or gaming console capable of high-definition output, you will not get the best quality capable, make sure your TV has HDMI inputs to accommodate all your high-def sources. Of course, if you’re really concerned with getting the latest and greatest, consider gear that’s compatible with the HDMI 1.4 format, which is the latest standard.

Be careful when choosing an audio system.
There are sound bars, satellite speaker systems that include a subwoofer, traditional speakers, and home theater in a box systems just to name a few options. Thankfully, these models are not that difficult to figure out. Generally, if the system includes any kind of player, like a Blu-ray player. The speakers only work with that source, which isn’t necessarily the best option for those who want surround sound on more than just their movies.

If you end up having additional question leave a comment, and I will gladly answer it for you.
