Bad news, PlayStation 4 gamers may have to wait a while before they can get the newest Minecraft game on their gaming consoles. Developer 4J Studios shared the news via Twitter last week.
"Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of #MinecraftPS4," 4J wrote. "We're fixing, but we need to go through the process again."
The website reports the release for the game will be done by September.
The pushed back release date is needed to accommodate Sony's stringent certification process, which sees each game having to go through the same process at SCEA in North America, SCEE in Europe, and SCEJ in Japan.
Meanwhile, there has been little to no news for the game's release on the Xbox One and PlayStation Vita, as 4J says that they are still trying to fix some bugs that were found in both editions.
But, so long as everything goes, we could have whole new worlds to conquer and create by mid-September. Don't forget too, that you can import save games from either - the Xbox 360 version will be updated soon to enable this.
