The Swedish EDM star, born Tim Bergling, is suspending touring due to health concerns. Earlier this year, the newly minted 25-year-old had surgeries to remove his gallbladder and appendix.
The DJ/producer’s camp says this break will be implemented so “he can fully recuperate from lingering health issues.”
In addition to his TomorrowWorld, Avicii’s Las Vegas residencies and an October tour of Asia will also be affected.
Sadly, we will have to listen Avicii on our house, using our own portable Bluetooth speaker.
No word yet if there will be a replacement for Avicii on the TomorrowWorld bill. According to Avicii's reps, he will recuperate in Stockholm.
