Game of Thrones - Song Cover by Jackie Evancho

The 14-year-old Ms. Evancho says she's too young to watch "Game of Thrones," but her record label suggested "The Rains of Castamere," and she decided to record it because she liked the song and her mother has watched the show.

Crossover singer Jackie Evancho has never seen an episode of "Game of Thrones," but that hasn't stopped her from singing about the show.

Ms. Evancho's new album "Awakening," due out Sept. 23, features "The Rains of Castamere," a song co-written by "Game of Thrones" author George R.R. Martin.

Ms. Evancho, who rose to fame in 2010 with her performances of operatic arias on "America's Got Talent," is seeking to branch out stylistically on her new album, which features original songs as well as a cover of "With or Without You" by the Irish rock band U2. Lyrics:
And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.

This is the video of the performance:

And this one is the original we heard in the "Red Wedding" episode.
