Benefits of Music Meditation

Two important benefits:

  • Meditation prevents stress from getting into the system
  • Meditation releases accumulated stress that is in the system

These are some alternate effects you'll get from meditation:

  • Anxiety decreases
  • Emotional stability improves
  • Creativity increases
  • Happiness increases
  • Intuition develops
  • Gain clarity and peace of mind
  • Problems become smaller
  • Meditation sharpens the mind by gaining focus and expands through relaxation
  • A sharp mind without expansion causes tension, anger and frustration
  • An expanded consciousness without sharpness can lead to lack of action/progress
  • The balance of a sharp mind and an expanded consciousness brings perfection
  • Meditation makes you aware - that your inner attitude determines your happiness.

Music during Workout. Push your limits.

For you morning workout guys, those whom like exercising at home, or in quite areas. I'll give you a few reasons to listen to music while working out. Always listen something that really means something to you, that's the whole reason of listening music.

Music is the good kind of distraction.
While the study did suggest there's more to it than distraction, working out with music did make participants less aware of their exertion. Can benefit athletic performance by up to 15 percent, The Guardian reported. Yeah, by just listening  to Kid Cudi - Pursuit of Happiness (Steve Aoki Remix) half of my cardio time goes away.

It ups your effort.
A 2010 study found that cyclists actually worked harder when listening to faster music as compared to music at a slower tempo.

Music puts you "in the zone".
We associate certain songs with memories, often relating to the context in which we originally heard them. Channeling that memory boosts the motivational power of the song, and has been shown to improve physical performance. It happens to me every time. Some times trying to sing and workout at the same time. Do not try it at home.

A good beat can help you keep pace.
The rhythm of your workout music stimulates the motor area of the brain as to when to move, thereby aiding self-paced exercises such as running or weight-lifting. Clueing into these time signals helps us use our energy more efficiently, since keeping a steady pace is easier on our bodies than fluctuating throughout a sweat session.

Music can elevate your mood.
An August 2013 analysis found that people often listen to music as a way to change their mood and find self-awareness.

It makes you want to move.
Researchers found that when music possesses "high-groove" qualities, the brain gets excited and induces movement in the listener.

There is more, more benefits of Music

You would be surprised of how many benefits are found on listening to music. Here, I leave you 5 more of them. Listen, enjoy, and get cured from reality.

Relieve symptoms of depression. When you’re feeling down in the dumps, music can help pick you up (much like exercise). Research suggests the kind of music matters: Classical and meditative sounds seem to be particularly uplifting, whereas heavy metal and techno can actually make depressive symptoms worse.

Elevate mood. A 2013 study found that music helped put people in a better mood and get in touch with their feelings. Study participants rated “arousal and mood regulation” and “self-awareness” as the two most important benefits of listening to music.

Improve cognitive performance. Background music may enhance performance on cognitive tasks. One older study found that listening to music allowed test takers to complete more questions in the time allotted, and get more answers right. More recent research suggests that whether or not music improves cognitive function depends on whether the music first improves a person’s emotional state.

Help people perform better in high-pressure situations. Want to sink the game-winning shot when the pressure’s on? Listen to some upbeat tunes before the big game. One study found that basketball players prone to performing poorly under pressure during games were significantly better during high-pressure free-throw shooting if they first listened to catchy, upbeat music and lyrics.

Reduce anxiety as much as a massage. One study found that music’s effect on anxiety levels is similar to the effect of getting a massage. Here’s an idea: Treat yourself to a massage and bring your favorite chilled out tunes to play during the session. Double the relaxation!
